Joy Ngiaw is a Chinese-Malaysian film composer based in Los Angeles, CA. Her recent projects include two Walt Disney Animation Studios short films - "Jing Hua" (Disney+), VR animated short "A Kite's Tale", and Netflix's feature film June and Kopi. Her score to short film "Fish Head" was awarded Best Original Score at Asians On Film Festival 2020. She has also contributed to a wide variety of critically acclaimed works including TV shows Legion (FX), Cobra Kai (Netflix), and The Night Of (HBO), and films Impractical Jokers: The Movie (WarnerMedia) and Voyeur (Netflix), and video games What Remains of Edith Finch, to name but a few. Apart from music for Film/TV, Joy's concert music has been performed by prestigious orchestras such as Boston Pops, Helix Collective, and the Valencia Symphony Orchestra.
